Jean King
Jean Sadako King, née McKillop (December 6, 1925 – November 24, 2013) was the sixth Lieutenant Governor of Hawaii, the state's first woman to be elected as such, from 1978 to 1982〔(Search via Google Books )〕 in the administration of Governor George Ariyoshi. ==Education== The daughter of a Caucasian father and a Japanese mother, King received her B.A. and M.F.A. degrees from the University of Hawaii and her master's degree of arts from the New York University.〔
